TDIs start up in the 24-25k range. Plus the new version needs AdBlue. Not crazy about that prospect.

Doesn't the jetta tdi start at 21ish?Surprised they made the golf more. Adblue is ok, but I'm surprised at that price premium. That's almost wrx money

I stand corrected. Both of them have a TDI S or Value edition starting at 21 and some change. However, both TDI SEs make the jump to the 24 range.

I just went to check out a build your own on the VW webstite and they list the GTI as being for sale JUNE 2014 and yet there is no configurator! Isnt that this month? Shoudlnt that thing be on the site?

They're on the ground now. Lindsay has 3 I think. And actually, the VW site has more or less done away with all of its configurators
